The JL Audio XDM400/4 is a compact Class-D amplifier designed for marine and automotive use. Its efficient design delivers power to all four speakers from one small chassis.

The included M3-650X-C-Gw coaxial speakers use a mica-filled polypropylene woofer and silk-dome tweeter. Their gloss-white Classic grilles provide a clean, factory-style appearance.

Yes. The four included 4-ohm speakers can be wired as two parallel pairs, creating a 2-ohm load on Channels 1 and 2. Channels 3 and 4 can then be bridged to power a compatible 4-ohm subwoofer. In this setup, each speaker pair shares up to 100 watts RMS, while the bridged subwoofer channel can deliver up to 200 watts RMS. Proper crossover, gain and wiring settings are required.

Each speaker requires approximately 2.78 inches of mounting depth and a 5 to 5.25-inch cutout. Compare the available depth, cutout and screw pattern with the measurements above.

A hole saw matched to the required cutout size provides the easiest way to make a clean, round opening. You can also use a jigsaw with a diamond-grit or carbide-grit blade. Mask the cutting area, confirm there is enough clearance behind the panel and cut slowly to help protect the surrounding gelcoat.
