Is this the right bundle for my boat?
- Best for a straightforward four-speaker upgrade: stereo, amplifier, and speakers are matched without adding a subwoofer, tower speakers, or a larger multi-zone system.
- Better than a stereo-only upgrade: the MX500/4 supplies dedicated amplifier power instead of relying only on the stereo's built-in output.
- Good fit for: center consoles, bay boats, pontoons, runabouts, cabins, and cockpit audio upgrades.

Installation notes
If your boat did not previously have an amplifier, a typical installation may require amplifier power and ground wiring, fuse protection, RCA cables, remote turn-on wire, speaker wire, and terminals. Add only the installation accessories you need from the selector above.
Measure the actual one-way cable route from the battery to the amplifier before choosing a 10 FT or 20 FT power kit. The amplifier power kit does not replace the separate RCA and speaker-wire runs used in a typical installation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does this kit include everything I need?
For many boats, yes. This bundle includes the main pieces for a marine audio upgrade: the Fusion stereo, JL Audio amplifier, and four JL Audio marine speakers.
It can be used for both fresh installs and replacing an existing system. If your boat already has usable wiring, this may be all you need. If you are starting from scratch or want a cleaner install, wiring kits, RCA cables, speaker wire, terminals, and other install accessories are available as optional add-ons above the add to cart button.

How do I know whether I need the 10 FT or 20 FT wiring kit?
The 20 FT kit is the safest choice for most boats because it gives you extra cable for clean routing around consoles, batteries, rigging tubes, and hidden panels. The 10 FT kit can work for very short runs, but we recommend the 20 FT kit unless you are certain the battery and amplifier are mounted close together.
Choose the 10 FT kit if your house/engine batteries are inside the console and the amplifier will be mounted nearby. Choose the 20 FT kit if your batteries are in an aft compartment or farther away from the amplifier mounting location. For most setups, we recommend mounting the amp within a few feet of your new stereo.
Will the Fusion MS-RA60 fit my existing stereo opening?
In many cases, yes. If your current stereo uses a larger cutout than the Fusion MS-RA60, you can achieve a clean, factory-style installation with the Fusion Stereo Retrofit Kit (Part Number: 010-12829-03) which is found at the bottom of this page. If you're unsure whether you'll need the retrofit kit, contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to verify compatibility with your boat.
Is this a genuine JL Audio and Fusion system?
Yes. Every component is brand new and sourced through authorized distribution. Your purchase includes the full manufacturer warranty.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, if you're comfortable with basic 12V marine wiring. This kit works well for replacing an existing system or building a new 4-speaker setup with the proper installation accessories. Optional install add-ons can be selected on this page for wiring, fuse protection, RCA cables, speaker wire, and other install parts. Need help during the install? Will this work on my boat?
This bundle is a strong upgrade for most 12V boats, including center consoles, bay boats, pontoons, runabouts, and cockpit audio systems. It is ideal for replacing an older stereo or building a clean, powerful JL Audio marine system. Have a fitment question? Can I add a subwoofer or more speakers later?
Yes. This bundle is a great starting point and can be expanded later. The included JL Audio MX500/4 is set up to properly power the four M3 speakers in this kit. If you want to add a subwoofer, tower speakers, or additional speakers later, we can help build the right add-on setup with the proper amplifier and wiring.
